No. It should only be spot cleaned / hand-washed with water and a mild detergent, never submerged in water. Make sure to wait at least 2 hours after use before cleaning the compress. Let air dry for 24 before next use.
Recommended treatment time is 8-10 minutes. This is the amount of time your compress will maintain the necessary heat level to activate the Meibomian secretions.
It is not designed for cold therapy. However, you can put your mask in the freezer for a relaxing cooling experience. Make sure your mask is at room temperature before heating again in the microwave.
